I am starting my weekly writing by introducing myself and why I believe I am qualified to write about: Iran, Shiite Islam, terrorism, the problems the world is facing today regarding these issues, and what Iranian religious institutions have in store for you, an analysis, and the solution.
Although volumes have been written about Iran, Islam, Shiites, terrorism, the magnificent Islam and the glorious Koran, regrettably, most has been written by scholars. It seems that scholars tend to write for scholars, studying materials that reinforce predetermined ideas, a task which hardly requires getting off an easy chair.
Unlike these armchair analysts, I am writing about reality. What is real, what is happening now… this moment… as you read this page. I write plainly, and I write the facts, facts that are checked and cross-checked for accuracy.
I grew up with and understand the mentality of today’s Iranian Shiite elite. A large part of my life was spent in practical day-in, day-out activities as a young Iranian Shiite. I am in tune and in touch with what is happening in Iran. I read and write in both Farsi and English.
My book, “Iran: Harsh Arm of Islam” covers the ills and the flaws that affect the day-to-day life of not only Iranian Muslims and Iranians of other beliefs, but now all of humanity. I will start off by revealing a 200-year-old dark secret, a most chilling conspiracy in the history of Iran’s Shiites. However, to better understand this frightening hidden scheme, I need to take you to the very beginning.
It begun with Shah Ismail I (25-Rajab-892- 19-Rajab-930), a fanatic Shiite Muslim who rose to power by eliminating other tribal leaders. He conquered the city of Tabriz in 1501 AD and eventually all of Iran through brutality and bloodshed. He declared himself shah (King) and made Shiism practice the official state religion. Until then, Iran was largely populated by Sunni Muslims and other religions as well. This was the official birth of Shiism in Iran.
Shah Ismail began forcefully converting Sunni Muslim and others to his Shiite sect. His forced conversion of Sunnis did not set well with the Ottoman Sunni Muslims who at that time controlled the Turkish Empire, west of Iran. Shah Ismail mobilized an army of Shiite converts and waged a war against the Sunni Ottomans whom he accused of heretical beliefs. The next 150 years, the Ottoman Empire and the Safavids were at war.
To expand his new religion throughout Iran and help fellow Shiites, Shah Ismail I, declared Iran home for all the Arab Shiite clergy and worked hard to facilitate their emigration to Iran. Thousands upon thousands of fit and unfit Shiite mullahs, soldiers, and horsemen from all parts of Arabia left their place for a dreamland. Soon Iran became a haven for mullahs, ayatollahs, marauders, fakes and plain pretenders.
Today’s ayatollahs, mullahs, Seyyeds and Akhonds are direct descendants of the same 16th and 17th century Arabs.
After the successful conversion of Sunnis, most cases in reality due to slaughter and force, the Arab clergy gained considerable power and influence in government and upon the society. Although they came into Iran for a better life and through religion and credulous teachings rose to power and influence, not only did they have no desire to assimilate and become Iranian, they work hard to impose their own Arab philosophy upon the Iranians.
